How Boehner's "Plan B" Met An Ugly Death

                                         The Tea Bags Attack!! --
                                      both Boehner and Obama

Here's the Freedom Works email which was rushed out to loyal tea bags in order to "drive the blade" into Speaker Boehner's admittedly feeble compromise attempt on the "fiscal cliff" negotiations.

Those would be the "negotiations" without a Congressional "negotiator." Boehner, Cantor, Ryan and the rest of the GOP slithered out of town, probably to make "War on Christmas" a reality for their unfortunate families

Was this the "last blow" to Speaker Boehner's Plan B?

The email from Freedom Works.

Dear MeanMesa,

Grassroots activists need to stop Speaker Boehner’s so-called “Plan B” on the fiscal cliff. The vote will likely occur at 7:30 p.m. TONIGHT.

Boehner supports Obama’s rush to raise taxes on Americans. Apparently, he thinks the solution to our spending problem is to raise payroll taxes by 30% for struggling workers, drastically raise taxes on small businesses, and punish success. We need to send a clear message: we will not go along with President Obama’s destruction of the economy.

Remember Candidate Obama? “The last thing you want to do is raise taxes in the middle of a recession because that would just suck up – take more demand out of the economy and put business further in a hole.” Candidate Obama sounds even more conservative than Speaker Boehner!

Instead of focusing on cutting spending, Speaker Boehner and the Republican Establishment spent the last few weeks purging conservatives from prominent committees. We didn’t elect a majority Republican House so they could roll over every time the going gets tough. We elected them to STOP Obama’s out-of-control power grabs. Washington does not need any more of our money to waste on crony capitalism.

We cannot accept harmful policy simply for the sake of compromise. We need real solutions to our spending problem, we don't need Congress dividing Americans – “Plan B” does not address any of our real problems. We've learned from the past. When Washington raises taxes, politicians just can't help themselves from increasing spending. We don't need either.

Please call your Representative in the House and tell them to oppose this bad legislation. Let Washington know that we need to cut spending, not raise taxes on struggling families.
